NEP 2020 Guidelines

• St. Bede’s College, Shimla affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University will be offering the Bachelor’s Degree Programme of 4 years with Honors or Honors with Research in line with the recommendations of National Education Policy-2020.
• Multiple Entry and Exit systems at various stages will be implemented according to University Guidelines from the academic session 2026-27 for newly admitted students.
• As per the UGC Guidelines for Multiple Entry and Exit in Academic Programmes offered in Higher Education Institutions, after completing the requirements of a three-year Bachelor’s Degree.
• Candidates who secure a minimum 75% shall be allowed to continue studies in the fourth year of the undergraduate programme to pursue and complete the Bachelor’s Degree with Honors or Honors with Research These students will have the option to pursue a Degree with Research or a Degree with Honours.
• Those students who do not have 75% up to the 6th Semester will be awarded Bachelor’s Degree as they will have to exit the Bachelor’s Degree Programme after completing the 6th Semester.
